Michelle has practised reflexology since qualifying in 1994 with the Philip Salmon School, London. She treats people of all ages and and is particularly intersted in treating stress-related ailments, digestive problems and providing specialist reflexology treatments for pregnant women.

In 1995 whilst coping with a long-term auto-immune illness Michelle started to practise yoga, and was drawn to teachers who were influenced by the work of Vanda Scaravelli. These inspirational teachers included Peter Blackaby, Gary Carter, Sophy Hoare, Diane Long, John Stirk, and Liz Warrington.

Michelle began to teach yoga in 2001, after returning from India where she studied yoga at Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (VYASA), and Atma Darshan Bihar School (Satyananda yoga), both in Bangalore. Michelle is a regular student of Diane Long , who was Vanda Scaravelli's principal student for over twenty years.

In addition to general classes and individual lessons, Michelle has taught groups in corporate offices, institutions, and festivals. She regularly teaches on retreats and organises yoga holidays.
